Privacy Matters @ UBC Symposium 2021

Don’t miss the 4th Annual Privacy Matters @ UBC Symposium.

The Privacy and Information Security Management (PrISM) team at UBC invites all faculty and staff to join in a discussion about how to maintain proper privacy and information security practices while adopting a new hybrid work model.

Hear insights from a representative of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) as they provide a brief overview of the cybersecurity threat environment.

The keynote event takes place October 28, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.

There will also be a fun online trivia game conducted every Tuesday and Thursday from October 5 – October 21. Faculty and staff will earn a chance to win $100 gift card for the UBC Bookstore by answering a series of trivia questions related to privacy and information security.
