Inspiring Ideas: Event Series

Attend an event or request an information session to learn more

Throughout the year, we host "Inspiring Ideas" events to help expand awareness of privacy and information security issues at UBC and in the community at large. Through conversations, knowledge sharing, and storytelling we hope to provide a venue to share inspiring ideas to improve privacy and information security, both at home and at UBC.

Information Sessions

Representatives from the Privacy and Information Security Team are available to drop by your department or faculty to answer any of your security-based questions.

These informal, 90 minute sessions were created to allow for a chance for staff and faculty to have a direct line into privacy and information security experts at UBC. Drop in, have a snack and learn more about protecting sensitive information online.

To schedule an information session, click the button below to fill out the quick request form. Someone from the Security team will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
