Information Security Training for Administrative Heads of Unit Now Available

UBC’s new required Information Security Training for Administrative Heads of Unit (AHoU) is now live (launched November 2025).This comprehensive, self-paced online course provides practical tools and clear guidance on information security accountability, helping leaders protect UBC’s data and systems.

Although this training is only required for AHoU, it is open to all and could be particularly valuable to others seeking to enhance their understanding of security accountability and responsibility at UBC.

While you can take this training at any time, automated Workday notifications for AHoU will begin in March 2026, prompting completion within one month of notification.
