28 Million Canadians Impacted by a Data Breach

New report from the Privacy Commissioner of Canada reveals that more than 28 million Canadians were impacted by a data breach in the last 12 months. That’s nearly 75% of the country’s population!

Since November 1st, 2018, 680 breach reports were received. That is six times the volume from one year prior. These reports reveal that there are significant security challenges being faced by Canadian businesses and institutions.
